6.4.1 Interface "ext. Display"

This interface (1) is labelled in the terminal connection diagram on the rear of the controller with
the description "ext. Display".
The interface is exclusively used to connect the external display with the touch screen (PAW-
HPMED). The external display is connected to the interface via a cable with RJ-11 plug-in
connection.
A room temperature sensor and a remote setpoint transmitter are part of the external display's
scope of delivery.

6.4.2 "BUS" Interface

This interface (2) is labelled in the terminal connection diagram on the inside of the controller
with the description "BUS".
The communication with the heat pumps is done via this interface. Depending on the heat pump
type, a matching adapter cable is required to connect a heat pump to a controller. The adapter
cable is connected to the interface using a bus terminal.

If the heat pump is controlled via the adapter cable to the BUS interface, then the HPM replaces
the control panel of the heat pump completely, i.e. all the settings of the heat pump are made at
the HPM.

6.4.3 "WEB" Interface

This interface (3) is labelled in the terminal connection diagram on the inside of the controller
with the description "WEB".
Via this interface, the controller can be integrated into a communication network (LAN) that can
be connected to the internet. The network cable is connected to the interface using an Ethernet
plug-in connection.
