8.3.8 Function Check

To ensure that the commissioning has been successful, the connected sensors are checked and
the correct function of the outputs is checked.
Function check for sensors
If the sensors are connected correctly, their measured values are shown in the curValue sub-
menu of the respective heating circuit (Example: sub-menu MCR-BMS » heatCirc.» heatC. 1 »
curValue).
Should a sensor not be correctly connected, if its cable is damaged or there is a short circuit is
in the measuring line, this is shown as an error message in the basic display (Example: heatC.
1 fault, sensor defective). The status menu of the affected control circuit indicates on which
sensor the fault was detected (Example: Outside too high (= measuring lines open), Outside
too low (= short circuit in sensor or measuring line).
Procedure for troubleshooting:
► Check terminal assignment and remedy any problems.
► Disconnect the sensor and check measurement signal / resistance value

To check the functionality of the outputs for the connected valves and pumps, the operating
mode switch of the controller and the control circuits must be set to manual operation.
