1. Fault Diagnosis - User Maintenance

The Mira Event is fully performance tested after assembly. Providing the Mira
Event has been correctly installed and is operated as advised, difficulties should
not arise. In the unlikely event that you experience problems with your appliance
then the following procedure will enable you to undertake basic fault finding
before contacting the person responsible for installing your shower.
Malfunction

temperature too hot.
Shower temperature
too cold.
Blend temperature
unstable

Fault Diagnosis

Cause
Incorrect setting of
maximum temperature.
Hot water cylinder
temperature less than
0
12 C above shower
temperature.
Maximum temperature
incorrectly set.
Spray plate blocked.
Inlet filter blocked.
Isolating valve partially
closed.
Plumbing system fault.

Remedy
Reset maximum
temperature. Refer to
"Commissioning:
Adjustable Maximum
Temperature Setting".
Adjust cylinder
temperature.
(Recommended not to

Reset maximum
temperature. Refer to

Clean spray plate. Refer to
the Installation, Operation
and Maintenance guide
supplied with the shower
fittings.
