Caution!
Avoid exposing prosthetic components to corrosive elements such as
fresh water, salt water, acids and other liquids. Using this medical
device in such conditions will render all claims against Otto Bock
HealthCare null and void.
Please inform your patients of this caution as well!
The 4R118 Ottobock Adapter Plate is used to optimize the alignment of modu-
lar lower limb prostheses. In particular, it serves for the permanent additional
posterior placement of the knee joint in relation to the prosthetic socket.
Caution!
The Adapter Plate may only be installed between the prosthetic socket
and the knee joint.
It must only be used in combination with an adapter with a four-
hole connection (5R1=1; 2; 6; 5R2 and 5R6=1; 2 ;3) (proximal). An
attachment block with pyramid receiver (4R55, 4R95, 4R22, 4R51,
4R37) is to be used for the distal connection.
2.3 Function
The Adapter Plate allows for a displacement from 10 mm (Fig. 2) up to 25 mm
(Fig. 3).
