Device variables and process variables

Device variables:
The following device variables are available using the HART protocol:
ID (decimal) Device variable
0 OFF (not assigned)
30 Volume flow
40 Sound velocity
49 Flow velocity
250 Totalizer 1
Process variables:
At the factory, the process variables are assigned to the following device variables:
• Primary process variable (PV) → Volume flow
• Second process variable (SV) → Totalizer
• Third process variable (TV) → Sound velocity
• Fourth process variable (FV) → Flow velocity

You can set or change the assignment of device variables to process variables using Command 51
(see Page 56).
