Diagnosis via I/O diagnostic interface

Festo P.BE−CPX−FB11−E N en 0503b
Further instructions on the function and content of the status
bits can be found in the CPX system manual.
Detailed diagnostic information can be accessed via the I/O
diagnostic interface. You can ascertain exactly, e.g. on which
module and on which channel a fault has occurred. The sys
tem diagnosis can be called up by 16 input bits and 16 out
put bits, via which all diagnostic data can be read out.
For the field bus node CPX−FB11, access to the DeviceNet
objects with Explicit Message programming is always more
suitable than via the I/O diagnostic interface (see appendix
B.1).
Information on the available diagnostic information and its
function numbers can be found in the CPX system manual.
Please note
In order to use the I/O diagnostic interface, you must
activate it with the DIL switch on the field bus node.
If the I/O diagnostic interface is active, it will occupy the first
16 inputs and outputs in the address range.
Instructions on diagnosis with the I/O diagnostic interface
can be found in the CPX system manual.
