8.18 To rinse the nozzles manually

8.19 Head temperature

After extended periods of no printing, it may be necessary to rinse
the ink cartridges to open up clogged nozzle ducts again.
During rinsing (purging), all ink cartridge nozzle ducts are
addressed to eject some ink.
Spitting takes 2 sec.
CAUTION!
Material damage due to squirting ink!
During spitting, squirting ink soils the surroundings.
Therefore:
Hold a moist cloth in front of the ink cartridge
nozzle plate.
1.
Touch the iLOGIK once in one of the status menus.
The Label submenu is displayed.
2.
Call the Service submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select
by pressing.
The Reset Ink Cnt. submenu is displayed.
3.
Call the Purge submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select by
printing.
The Purge submenu is displayed.
4.
Hold a damp cloth in front of the nozzle plate of the ink
cartridge.
5.
Place a tick for Purge/Rinse by rotating the iLOGIK and initiate
the rinsing process by pressing. The rinsing (purging) process
continues as long as the iLOGIK is pressed and kept pressed,
but a maximum of two seconds.

Touch the iLOGIK once in one of the status menus.
The Label submenu is displayed.
2.
Call the Service submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and select
by pressing.
The Reset Ink Cnt. submenu is displayed.
3.
Call the Head Temp. submenu by rotating the iLOGIK and
select by pressing.
The Head Temp. submenu is displayed.
4.
Place a tick for the calibration by rotating the iLOGIK and
confirm by pressing.
