Plug connection for active switched outputs

Sensor Input
Encoder Input
In the iJET Pro version it is possible to use the M8 connectors of
the encoder as sensor as in- and outputs for signals. A multitude of
configurations are possible with the iDesign software and Web
browser.
 Chapter 8.29, Page 77
WARNING!
If outputs will be activated, don't hot-wire them, i.e.
by a connected sensor or encoder-output!
Use splitter cable.
The two optional outputs are switched on depending on the mode.
The outputs switched to a voltage of +24V.
The outputs are connected to the M8 connector of the iJET at the
Pin2.
At the sensor plug and at the encoder plug are different outputs
available. Settings can be made with iDesign in advanced settings.
Pin assignment:
PIN
Description
1
24V
2
OK or Alarm output, max. 10mA
3
0V (ground)
4
Sensor input (NPN)
PIN
Description
1
24V
2
Output, max. 10mA
3
0V (ground)
4
Input Encoder (push-pull)
The outputs can be used for example for connecting to a PLC.
CAUTION!
If PIN2 is used as the output it must not be loaded with
more than 10 mA.
This corresponds to a maximum load resistance of
2,4kOhm
