Installation and commissioning
Fig. 12: Mounting external light barrier
7.
If an external light barrier is used: Connect the light barrier
cable to the connector (point 1 in Fig. 6) of the light barrier
and tighten.
8.
Mount the light barrier on the controller using the two screws
1
supplied (point 2 in Fig. 6). Make sure that the photoelectric
cell has an unlimited view of the product (transmitting and
receiving diode). Only tighten the screws to the extent that the
plastic housing is not damaged. Alternatively another sensor
may be used.
2
Observe the direction of movement of the conveyor belt!
9.
Mount optional rotary encoder to the production line.
10. Connect rotary encoder cable to the rotary encoder connector
and fasten.
11. If necessary, mount an additional screen to protect the
controller.
12. Compare the mains data with the technical data of the power
pack.
Only connect when the data correspond.
13. Insert mains plug in an earthed socket.
14. Insert ink cartridge in the holder

NOTE!
To avoid faults caused by potential differences, the
controller must be electrically connected to the
conveyor belt.
CAUTION!
Material damage due to induced currents!
If the connection cables of the controller run close
to high voltage or heavy current cables in the cable
duct, induction may cause malfunctioning or
damage.
Therefore:
– Lay all connection cables of the controller
spatially separate from high voltage and heavy
current cables.
