3.5 Electrical Installation

CAUTION
Carry out wiring work only after the variable frequency drive has
been correctly mounted and secured.
DANGER
Electric shock hazard – risk of injuries!
Carry out wiring work only if the unit is de-energized.
ATTENTION
Fire hazard!
Only use cables, circuit-breakers, and contactors that feature
the indicated permissible nominal current value.
ATTENTION
The ground leakage currents in the DB1 variable frequency
drives can be greater than 3.5 mA (AC).
According to product standard IEC/EN 61800-5-1, an additional
grounding conductor must be connected or the existing ground-
ing conductor must have a cross-section of at least 10 mm
DANGER
The components in the variable frequency drive's power section
remain energized up to five (5) minutes after the supply voltage
has been switched off (DC link voltage capacitor discharging
time).
Pay attention to hazard warnings!
Complete the following steps with the specified tools and with-
out using force.
