Profile H Mag
This menu item selects the horizontal magnification for printing the scan profile. This
allows you to zoom in on the profile. Magnification values are multiples of the scan
profile length printed for a given Beam Width setting. For example, if the Beam Width
setting of 1800 prints a 4 inch scan profile, a Profile H Mag setting of 2 prints an 8 inch
scan profile.
You can set the Profile H Mag parameter to a value from 1 to 4.
The default is 1.

Press . to take the printer offline and place the printer in Menu mode.
If necessary, press and

Press . until VALIDATOR displays.
Press until Profile H Mag displays.
Press + or – to scroll through the values: 1 to 4. The default is 1.

Press to select the desired value.

Press  and
at the same time to lock the
offline.
Press PAUSE again to put the printer online.
Figure 25 shows a Profile H Mag setting of 2 for the same scan profile shown in Figure
24, page 64 (Profile H Mag setting of 1).
