5.3.2 Registering Memory Switch Settings to Printer
This section describes procedures to register the memory switch settings to the printer.
To Change and Register Settings
1. Switch [MS] tabs to display the target memory switch items.
2. Select or enter values for the target memory switch items.
3. Click the [Register to Printer] button.
To Load and Register Saved Memory Switch File
1. Click the [Open...] button.
2. Specify a memory switch file storing the settings in the [Open] dialog.
3. Click the [Open] button in the [Open] dialog.
4. Click the [Register to Printer] button.
Displays values of the memory switch retrieved from the printer or
memory switch file.
You can double click any value to enter the edit mode and change
the value by selecting a value from the drop-down list or entering a
new value in the edit box.
If you change a retrieved value, that value is displayed in red.
If the information cannot be retrieved from the printer when starting
the memory switch, "---" is displayed and you cannot edit values.
Loads a saved memory switch file (*.sms) and displays the
* 1
settings.
Allows you to specify the location and file name in the [Save As]
dialog to save the settings displayed in the current window as a
memory switch file (*.sms).
The default location is the Root folder.
Loads the current settings of the printer and displays them.
The settings currently being edited will be lost.
Prints the current settings of the printer.
Sends the currently displayed settings to the printer to change the

printer settings.
