7.3 Barcode Font

A barcode font is a special font that allows you to print barcodes by only specifying the font
without generating barcodes on the application side.
You should register the type and size of the barcode in [Printing Preferences] before using a
barcode font. You can register up to 10 types of barcode font (IPD Barcode1 to 10) in the
printer driver. For the registration method, see "3.5.5 Displaying [Barcode Font Settings]
Window".
Caution
 When you specify the rotation of the barcode, set the print speed to low. If the print
speed is high, the print quality of the barcode may be degraded. For details of the print
speed setting, see "3.4.5 Displaying [General Settings] Window".
 When a barcode becomes wider than the print width due to the barcode setting or
data setting, it cannot be printed correctly.
