Line 4 – Preset Point 1 data. If Preset Points are sup-
pressed, line 4 is omitted.
Line 5 – Preset Point 2 data. If Preset Points are sup-
pressed, line 5 is omitted.
Line 6 – Preset Point 3 data. If Preset Points are sup-
pressed, line 6 is omitted.
Line 7 – Crosshead Speed and Area (Area Compensa-
tion)
Line 8 – Energy (total). If Energy is suppressed, the En-
ergy field (No. 5) and line 8 are omitted.
Line 9 – Cycle Count/Pip Count.

Printer Units

The units that appear on a printout depend upon the selec-
tion of operating units (English, metric, SI). In addition,
the printed units for Strain depend upon the type of exten-
someter installed (self-identified or non-self identified) and
the strain operating mode (percent or displacement).
The units that will appear in the printout of the Strain
field are shown in Table 6-6.
