Clearance between 13T Gear and 3rd Shaft
1. Measure the 13T gear 1.0. with an inside micrometer, and then
3rd shaft
0.0. with an outside micrometer.
2. Measure the 0.0. of two needles in the needle bearing with an
outside micrometer.
3. Clearance is the difference between the gear 1.0. and the sum of
shaft
0.0. and two needle 0.0..
4. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace it.

0.007 to 0.046 mm

Clearance between Differential Case (Spiral Bevel Gear) and
Differential Side Gear
1. Measure the differential side gear boss 0.0. with an outside
micrometer.
2. Measure the differential case 1.0. and the spiral bevel gear 1.0.
with an inside micrometer, and calculate the clearance.
3. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace faUlty parts.
