DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING (2WD MODEL)
Front Wheel Hub
1. Remove the front wheels.
2. Remove the front wheel caps.
3. Remove the cotter pin and slotted nut.
4. Remove the front wheel hub with a puller.
(When reassembling)
• Bend the cotter pin as shown in the figure below.
Front wheel mounting
77.4 to 90.2 N·m
7.9 to 9.2 kgf·m

57.2 to 66.5 ft-Ibs
Tightening torque
118 to 157 N·m
Slotted nut 12 to 16 kgf·m

Tie-rod and Knuckle Arm
1. Pull out the cotter pins, and loosen the slotted nuts.
2. Remove the tie-rod (1) and drag link (3) with the tie-rod end lifter.
(Code No. 07909-39021)
3. Remove the knuckle arm (2).
(When reassembling)
Knuckle arm mounting bolt
77.4 to 90.2 N·m
7.9 to 9.2 kgf·m
and nut
57.2 to 66.5 ft-Ibs
Tightening torque
48.1 to 55.9 N·m
Slotted nut for tie-rod end
4.9 to 5.7 kgf·m
35.5 to 41.2 ft-Ibs
