Laser scanning unit (LSU) removal

1. Remove the right cover. See
2. Remove the left cover. See
3. Remove the rear door and cover. See
4. Remove the top cover. See
5. Remove the cooling fan. See
6. Disconnect the cable JGLV1 from the controller board.
7. Before loosening the screws securing the LSU, use a sharp pencil or a small, flat-blade screwdriver
to mark the location of the LSU on the printer frame. This will be helpful in positioning the new LSU.
8. Disconnect the cable (A) from the LSU.
9. Remove the three screws (B) securing the LSU.
Installation note: Mechanical and electronic LSU adjustments are required to complete the installation
of the LSU. See Printhead assembly
