Server Information
Use this option to enter reference information for the server administrator. For text settings, enter a maximum
of 14 characters. By default, all values are blank.
Entering server information
Procedure
1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) > Server Asset Information > Server Information and press Enter.
2. Select a setting and press Enter, then complete or select an entry and press Enter again.
a. Server Name—Enter a server name.
b. Server Asset Tag—Enter a server asset number.
c. Asset Tag Protection—Select a setting:

Unlocked
•
Locked—Locks asset tag information. The asset tag is not erased if you restore default system
settings.
d. Server Primary OS—Enter a description of the primary OS of the server.
e. Server Other Information—Enter additional text describing the server.
f. Power-On Logo—Select a setting:
•
Enabled—Displays the logo during system boot.
•
Disabled—Does not display the logo during system boot. This setting does not affect system boot
times.
3. Press F10.
