Mounting ET 200pro FC-2 fail-safe devices
In principle, fail-safe applications are configured the same as standard applications;
differences include:
● A module must be inserted to the left of the frequency converter, via which the frequency
converter safety functions are controlled, e.g.
– a repair switch module F-RSM
– a F-Switch.
● Only the following modules may be inserted between F-RSM or F-Switch and the
frequency converter:
– 400V switch off module
– all direct or reversing starters
Procedure:
Mount them one after the other:
1. Module rack
2. Interface module
3. Bus module for F-RSM or F-Switch
4. Bus module for frequency converters
5. Termination module
6. Connection module for the interface module
