Acquiring an ECG Using Pediatric Lead Placements

In order to use pediatric lead placements, the V3 placement feature must
be enabled. See "V3 Placement" on pg. 4-12. To configure the Atria to
always acquire ECGs using pediatric lead refer to "ECG Settings" on
pg. 4-2.
1. Prepare the pediatric patient, refer to:
• Chapter 6, "Patient Preparation."
• "Pediatric Chest Lead Placement" on pg. 6-8.
2. Follow steps for "Acquiring ECG Reports" on pg. 7-1.

rate does not display, view problem leads on the display. Replace faulty
electrodes as necessary.

The Atria automatically includes a formatted 12-lead report with
demographics in any ECG printout. Additionally, an Atria with the optional
interpretation feature automatically prints the interpretive analysis on the
report (this feature can be disabled).
The Atria can also automatically print the following pages with the ECG:
• Rhythm page
• Copies of ECG, with or without analysis
• Median complex report (interpretive Atria only)
