Misdiagnosis. Some patient information directly affects ECG analysis.
Your patient's physician uses this information when interpreting ECG
reports. Likewise, an interpretive Atria provides more accurate and
complete analysis statements when you enter complete patient
information.
• Press [Patient].
• To enter a new patient: select
patient demographics.
• To change an existing patient: select
and select a patient from the list to
NOTE: Recommended workflow is to enter patient
information before acquiring an ECG, since this information
affects both physician analysis and computer analysis.
The patient demographic fields are described on the following pages.

Patient ID
Enter a unique identifier for the patient.
20 characters
Last Name
Patient last name.
20 characters
First Name
Patient first name.
20 characters
Date Of Birth Enter Year (4 digits), Month (2 digits), Day
(2 digits).
Date of Birth automatically enters Age
and *Age Format.
Age
3 numeric characters (range = 0-129
years, 0-99 months, 0-365 days)
Not editable if Date of Birth was entered.
Age Format
Not editable if Date of Birth was entered. YEARS
Gender
Enter the gender of the patient.
