Working with Patient Records

Patient Records

Use the
menu to create new patient records, access existing
Directory
records, or to work with some or all patient records at once. You can use the
menu to print a directory report, print ECGs, create demographic
Directory
records, and delete patient records.
To access the
Directory
1. Press [Home] and then press [Directory].
2. Press [Next] or [Previous] to scroll through the directory options:
View Entire Patient Directory
records
View Open Orders—
attached ECG).
View Pending Records
completed their lifecycle on the device.
NOTE: Pending records are demographic-only records,
records marked as
printed (if communication is disabled), or records that have
not been sent (if communication is enabled).
Enter New Patient—
recording ECGs. (For more information, see "Enter Patient
Demographics" on pg. 7-2).
Print All New ECGs—
printed (their Record Status is not
Print Entire Directory—
Print Open Orders—
attached ECG).
Print Pending Records—
completed their lifecycle on the device.
Show Directory Status—
unprinted, or unsent records.
NOTE: If
Show Directory Status
directory, then the directory does not contain demographics-
only, unprinted or unsent records
