RF exposure statement
In order to comply with RF exposure limits established in the ANSI C95.1 standards, ensure users
maintain a distance from the product of no less than 20 cm (approximately 7.8 inches).

Digi complies with the ATEX Directive to ensure a safe working environment when working

with equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Connect Sensor is intended for fixed installation, where the installation is intended to minimize
n
the risk from electrostatic discharge.
Provision shall be made to prevent the rated voltage being exceeded by the transient
n
disturbances of more than 140% of the peak rated voltage.
Connect Sensor must be installed in an enclosure that provides a degree of protection not less
n
than IP54, in accordance with EN 60079-15.
Connect Sensor should be used in an area of not more than pollution degree 2, as defined in EN
n
60664-1.
Digi complies with the ATEX Directive to ensure a safe working environment when working with
equipment in potentially explosive atmospheres. The Connect Sensor device is compliant to the ATEX
Directive under Certification DEMKO 16 ATEX 1717X.
Applicability
Connect Sensor has been evaluated according to the following conditions. The ATEX evaluation and
the special conditions in this section apply to part numbers 50001907-xx.
WARNING! Connect Sensor is suitable for use in ATEX Zone 2, Group IIC hazardous
locations or non-hazardous locations only.
