Installing a Backup Device
1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" described earlier to prepare.
2.
Pull out the server from the rack.
3.
Open the top cover.
4.
Remove the riser card for full-height PCI boards.
Disconnect the two fan cables from the fan unit.
5.
Disconnect the FPC cable connecting the system board and SCSI backplane.

IMPORTANT:

While lifting up the release tab of the fan unit, slide the fan unit to the left when viewed
from the front of the server.

Lift straight up and remove the fan unit from the server.
