Symptom
Printouts are fuzzy.
Images are skewed.

Is the device used in an environment
with high humidity or where the
temperature or humidity changes
suddenly?

Is the paper loaded correctly?

Is the interior of the machine dirty?

correctly?

Corrective Actions
Use in an environment that has
suitable humidity.
If you experience frequent problems,
turn the cassette heater switch on.
Run [Drum Refresh].
When placing originals on the platen,
align them with the original size
indicator plates.
When placing originals in the
document processor, align the
original width guides securely before
placing the originals.
Check the position of the paper width
guides.
[Perform center line adjustment. For
the adjustment method, contact your
Service Representative.
Clean the slit glass.
Open the right cover. If the machine
interior is dirty with toner, clean it
using soft, dry, lint-free cloth.
Set the developing unit or drum unit
set correctly.
Open and then close the right cover.
Run [Drum Refresh].
If you experience frequent problems,
turn the cassette heater switch on.
Set [Prevent Bleed-thru (Copy)] or
[Prevent Bleed(Send/Store)] to [On].
Run [Background Density Adj.].
