• Use a suitable voltmeter to measure the voltage on the battery. If the voltmeter
indicates a voltage of 10 V or less, the battery is presumably faulty and is no
longer taking on any charge.
• Have the battery inspected by a specialist as necessary or dispose of it in a
proper manner.
Fault: The battery does not hold its voltage and discharges without a load
within a short time
• Use a suitable voltmeter to measure the voltage on the battery after charging. If
the voltage is below 12 V, the battery is too heavily sulphated or has a high
resistance and can therefore no longer take on or hold a charge.
• Have the battery inspected by a specialist as necessary or dispose of it in a
proper manner.

15. Cleaning

Use a soft cloth and a little mild cleaning agent to clean the housing. Harsh solvents
such as thinner or petrol must not be used, nor must scouring agent, as these will
corrode the surface. Dispose of the cleaning wipes and excess cleaning agent in an
environmentally sound manner. For reasons of safety, the mains plug must always be
disconnected from the mains and the charging cable disconnected from the battery
before cleaning. Prevent cleaning agent from getting inside the device or the quick
connector!

16. Maintenance

Have maintenance and repair work carried out by an authorised specialist or specialist
workshop only.

17. Warranty

The dealer/manufacturer from whom the charger was obtained guarantees the
materials and manufacture of the charger for a period of two years from the date of
receipt. In the event of a fault, the purchaser is initially only entitled to supplementary
performance. Supplementary performance comprises either repair of the fault or
the supply of a replacement product. Devices or parts which have been exchanged
become the property of the dealer. The purchaser must inform the dealer without
