The Perpendicular Intersection tool finds the perpendicular projection of a point on
the selected line.
Step Description

Intersection location is computed two-dimensionally in the X-Y plane. Inter-
section point height is computed by extrapolation of the first line.
1. Target and measure two points or select an existing line.
2. Activate the CAD tools by a long tap on the line in the sketch area. Select
Perpendicular Intersection.
The assistant asks for selecting a point.

Press Ok. Select the point.
The intersection point is proposed once a point is chosen:

After was pressed, the intersection point is generated and the
connecting lines to the existing point were added.
