All conductors are wired to the same
RJ-45 connector pins on each end of
the cable. All color pairs (such as
white/blue and white/orange) are kept
twisted together (1,2; 3,6; 4,5; 7,8).
Crossover Cable
(for connecting switch to switch or
transceiver to transceiver)
Pairs 2 (pins 1 and 2) and
pair 3 (pins 3 and 6) are
crossed (note the different
color assignement at each
connector). All color pairs
are kept twisted together
(1,2; 3,6; 4,5; 7,8).
