3. Configure the PE as an
IBGP peer.
4. Create the BGP IPv6
unicast family and enter its
view.
5. Enable IPv6 unicast route
exchange with the
specified peer or peer
group.
6. (Optional.) Configure route
redistribution.

BGP VPNv6 route control is configured similarly with BGP route control, except that it is configured in
BGP VPNv6 address family view. For more information about BGP route control, see Layer 3—IP
