Preparatory work

Carefully lubricate all parts before assembling.

Check the transmission. (
Main work
–
Secure the main shaft with the toothed end facing downward in the vise.
Guideline
Use soft jaws
–
Mount needle bearing

Mount the sixth-gear idler gear
–
Mount stop disk and lock ring

–
Mount third/fourth-gear sliding gear
–
Mount lock ring and stop disk

–
Mount needle bearing
8
–
Mount fifth-gear idler gear
–
Mount second-gear fixed gear
–
Finally, check all gear wheels for smooth operation.
