Using Advanced Features

This chapter quickly presents a brief introduction to another four powerful features of MA-
SCHINE:
▪ The Sound, Group, and Master Channel properties
▪ Advanced routing
▪ Sampling
▪ Mix view

11.1

Changing the Sound, Group, and Master Channel Properties

In a previous tutorial, we learned how to adjust the Volume and Swing of the Project — see
section
↑4.2.3, Adjusting Volume, Swing and Tempo
Swing are only two of the numerous Channel properties available for each channel, i.e. for each
Sound, for each Group and for the Master channel. The Channel properties are global configu-
ration settings for that particular channel. Notably, they are independent of which Plug-ins are
loaded in the channel.
In the software, after clicking the Channel icon (showing a little rotary knob) in the upper left
corner of the Control area, you see four buttons at the bottom left:
