bridge multicast address {mac-multicast-address | ip-multicast-address} [add | remove] {ethernet interface-list | port-channel
port-channel-number-list}
no bridge multicast address {mac-multicast-address | ip-multicast-address}
add — Adds ports to the group. If no option is specified, this is the default option.
remove — Removes ports from the group.
mac-multicast-address — MAC multicast address.
ip- multicast-address — IP multicast address.
interface-list — Separate nonconsecutive Ethernet ports with a comma and no spaces; a hyphen is used to designate a
range of ports.
port-channel-number-list — Separate nonconsecutive port-channels with a comma and no spaces; a hyphen is used to
designate a range of ports.
Default Configuration
No multicast addresses are defined.

User Guidelines
If the command is executed without add or remove, the command only registers the group in the bridge database. Static
multicast addresses can only be defined on static VLANs.
Examples
The following example registers the MAC address:
console (config)# interface vlan 8
console (config-if)# bridge multicast address 0100.5e02.0203
The following example registers the MAC address and adds ports statically.
console (config)# interface vlan 8
console (config-if)# bridge multicast address 0100.5e02.0203 add Ethernet g1-9

5.4.4 bridge multicast forbidden address

The bridge multicast forbidden address interface configuration command forbids adding a specific multicast address to
specific ports.
Syntax
bridge multicast forbidden address {mac-multicast-address | ip-multicast-address} {add | remove} {Ethernet interface-list |
port-channel port-channel-number-list}
