Chapter 2 Basic Operation

Set the media feeding

Correct the feeding rate of media.
If the correction value is not appropriate, stripes may appear on the printed image, thus resulting in a poor printing.
• When you have changed the media type, check the pattern and perform adjustment depending on the status.
• When printing with a take-up device, set the media first and then perform media correction.

Flow of media feeding correction

Perform media feeding correction as below:
Check that the feed correction

setting value is "0".
Set the peeling roller to the

maximum torque.
Print the correction pattern.

Check the pattern and adjust

the counter weight of feeding/
take-up tension bar.
If correction by counter weight

adjustment is not enough,
adjust the torque.
If correction by counter weight/

torque adjustment is not
enough, input the correction
value in the feed correction
setting.
