Chapter 2 Basic Operation
Installing the counter weight for
adjusting the tension-bar weight
• If the counter weight (50g x 28 sheets) of
the right figure is attached, install a
counter weight in the following manner.
• Check the tension of the media and
attach an appropriate number of weights.
Install the proper number of the counter weight depending
on the media type.
You can attach the counter weight up to 14 each for right
and left.
Do not remove the weight that was originally attached.
Also, do not remove the screws retaining the weight.

Loosen the screws when
removing the counter weight.
Counter weight
• If install / remove the counter weight of the bottom,
please sufficiently loosen the mounting screws.
If the screws are not loose enough, the counter
weight will be caught by the originally attached
screws, and it may not be removed.

Changing the printing origin

The position of the printing origin can be changed.
Moving the LED pointer to the changing position and
deciding the position.

In Local, Press
• It enters into the origin setting mode.

• Select the carriage and media, moving the point
with [][][][].

After determining the origin, press the
key.
• The printing origin is changed.

Pressure roller weight adjustment

In case that the media strongly sticks and cannot peel off
or the media floats with poor stuck, adjust the weight of
the pressure roller.
 If the media stuck is strong
Attach the accompanying spring to the place in the red
frame in the left figure. (right and left)
Pressure roller adjust spring is strong. 2 pcs
Pressure roller adjust spring is weak.
 If the media stuck is weak
Attach the accompanying weight to the place in the red
frame in the left figure. (right and left)
Pressure roller ballast
• After attaching the weight, attach the
accompanying grommet by all means.
