1. Back up all node data on the drive.
2. Determine the status of the drive from the hot-plug drive LED definitions.
3. Remove the hot-plug drive.

Low-profile LFF hot-plug drive
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.

Bezel ear

To remove the component:
1.
Power down the system.
2.
Disconnect all peripheral cables from the nodes and chassis.
3.
Remove all nodes from the chassis.
4.
If installed, remove the security bezel.
5.
Remove all drives.
6.
If installed, remove the RCM module.
7.
Remove all power supplies.
8.
Remove the chassis from the rack.
9.
Remove the access panel.
10. Remove all fan modules.
11. Remove the fan cages.
12. Remove the front I/O cable cover.
