DRAINING THE CENTRAL HEATING SySTEM
− Close the shut-off cocks for the central heating
and domestic hot water circuits.
− Make sure that the CH system fill cock (1) is closed.
− Open the non-return valve (4) to facilitate drai-
ning. See the figure to ascertain the correct posi-
tion for the dot on the screw.
− Connect a hose to the hose union on the drain
cock (3) and open the cock.
− Close the drain cock (2) once the circuit is empty.
− Close the non-return valves (4). See the figure to
ascertain the correct position for the dot on the
screw. .
DRAINING THE STORAGE CyLINDER
− Close the shut-off cocks for the central heating
and domestic hot water circuits.
− Make sure that the fill cock (1) is closed.
− Connect a hose to the storage cylinder drain cock
(2) and open the cock.
− Close the drain cock (2) once the storage cylinder
is empty
NOTE:
Open a hot water tap to facilitate draining of the storage
cylinder.
DRAINING THE SOLAR HEATING CIRCUIT
− Open the non-return valve (8) to facilitate drai-
ning. See the figure to ascertain the correct posi-
tion for the dot on the screw.
− Open the manual bleed valves on the system
bleed manifold.
− Connect a hose between the container you are
using to collect the water-glycol mix and the
drain cock (B) on the valve group (9). Open the
drain cock and wait until all the water-glycol mix
has drained out of the system.
− Set the non-return valve (8) to automatic fun-
ctioning. See the figure to ascertain the correct
position for the dot on the screw.
− Close the previously opened manual bleed valves
on the system bleed manifold.
