vant standards.

nection:
− Check that the boiler is compatible with the type
of gas supplied.
− Check that the gas supply pipes have been tho-
roughly cleaned
A filter of suitable particle rating should be installed.
9
The gas feed line must be suitable for the flow rate
demanded by the burner. The gas feed system must
also be equipped with all the necessary safety and
control devices required by applicable legislation
and standards.

2 . 1 3 Flue gas outlet and combustion air intake

ALUDOMUS SOLAR boilers must be fitted with flue gas
vent and comburent air intake pipes chosen from those
listed in the R catalogue. DO NOT START UP THE BOILER
if these pipes are not fitted. These pipes form an integral
part of the boiler even if they are supplied in a separate
kit. Coaxial or twin pipe terminals can be used to ensure
maximum flexibility in installation.

Condensing boilers require flue gas vent pipes in
thick aluminium (see the R catalogue).
9
It is mandatory to use a condensate trap (see the r
catalogue).
9
Flues must conform to EN 1856-1 standard in Class
C6 installations.
9
Ensure that the flue gas vent pipe has a 1% slope
towards the condensate trap.
9
Make sure that the boiler's condensate drain system
(siphon) is properly connected to a domestic water
drain.
9
Uninsulated flue pipes are potentially dangerous
and can cause burns.
