START-UP 2 START-UP Have r’s Technical Assistance Service start-up your boiler for the first time. Once this has been done, the boiler can be left to function automatically. Under certain circumstances, such as after long periods of disuse, the user may need to re-start it without involving the r's Technical Assistance Service .

START-UP Once you have set the required domestic hot water temperature, you can lock the adjustment knob of the mixer valve to prevent further tampering. To do so, unscrew the fixing screw from the top of the knob and pull off the knob. Fit the knob again so that M I N the keyway in the knob's body engages with the key in M A X...
START-UP RESEt FuNCtION To reset the boiler, turn the function selector to “ ”, then return it to its previous position and check that the red LED goes out. Provided correct functioning condi- tions have been restored, the boiler restarts automati- cally.
START-UP 2 .2 Warning leds and errors tHE MAIN CONtROL pANEL Green LED (3) Off = boiler in stand-by, burner out On = burning lit, boiler functioning normally. Red LED (5) Safety shutdown: an error code flashes on the display. Burner lockout: the red LED lights and an error code flashes on the display.
START-UP 2 .3 Cleaning Use a cloth damped in soapy water to clean the boi- ler’s external panelling. To remove stubborn marks, use a cloth damped in a 50% mix of water and denatured Do not use abrasive products, petrol or triethylene. alcohol or a suitable cleaning product.
