06.4.9 Printer Preparation for Material Color Change

After a print is completed and another material color is needed for printing, the tray will need to be changed. This also includes changing the
scraper bar, material gasket, material.
Wear gloves when handling VisiJet® FTI Material.
Pause printer by pressing the pause button on printer or using the "pause printer button" in the software.
Remove print platform from the platform holder by lifting the red levers up on each side of platform.
Close material cap and remove material cartridge. Note: Cartridge must be removed before shuttle plate can be unlocked and
lifted.
Using Isopropyl alcohol and a lint free cloth, thoroughly clean shuttle plate. Ensure to clean the material from the two valves located in the
front of shuttle plate.
Unlock shuttle plate and lift up.
