This depends on the size and the complexity of the part that is being printed.
If material runs out before the print has completed the print process, does the print abort?
No, the printer will pause until a material cartridge is added. Once cartridge is added, the print can continue.
Does the software pause the printer until cartridge is replaced?
The machine will pause the build and send an email notification letting the administrator(s) know a new cartridge is required, Once new cartridge
is installed, the print will continue.
How do I order parts?
Contact 3D Systems Customer Support or from your servicing reseller.
Under what types of scenerios will cause the printer to pause?
UV source failures, cartridge failure, motion failure, pump failures,
Can material cartridges be refilled / reused?
Once cartridges are spent, they can not be refilled. Empty cartridges must be dispose of according to your local regulatory.
Does the printer save the .stl files after the print is completed?
The .st. files can be saved before sending the job to the printer. It can not be saved once it has been sent to the printer.
Can I removed or replace parts that are not listed in the spare parts locator?
Do not attempt to remove parts that are not replaceable. Doing so could void your warranty agreement. Contact 3D Systems Customer Service
