The following illustration shows cable routing for the DVD cable:

Attention: Follow the optical drive cable routing as the illustration shows. Make sure that the

cable is not pinched and does not cover any connectors or obstruct any components on the

system board.

Replace the air baffle (see "Replacing the air baffle" on page 242).

Replace the cover (see "Replacing the cover" on page 240).

Slide the server into the rack.

Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.

Step 10. Turn on the peripheral devices and the server.

Removing a tape drive

Use this information to remove a tape drive.

To remove an optional tape drive, complete the following steps:

Removing and replacing components
