Configuring NSF with SSO Supervisor Engine Redundancy

Configuring SSO

You must configure SSO in order to use NSF with any supported protocol.
To configure SSO, perform this task:

Switch(config)# redundancy

Switch(config-red)# mode sso
Step 3
Switch(config-red)# end
Step 4
Switch# show running-config
Step 5
Switch# show redundancy states
The sso keyword is supported in Cisco IOS Release 12.2(20)EWA and later releases.

This example shows how to configure the system for SSO and display the redundancy state:
Switch> enable
Switch# configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line.
Switch(config)# redundancy
Switch(config-red)# mode sso
Switch(config-red)# end
Switch# show redundancy states
my state = 13 -ACTIVE
Redundancy Mode (Operational) = sso

Configuring Cisco NSF with SSO Supervisor Engine Redundancy
Purpose
Enters redundancy configuration mode.
Configures SSO. When this command is entered, the
redundant supervisor engine is reloaded and begins to
work in SSO mode.
Returns to EXEC mode.
Verifies that SSO is enabled.
Displays the operating redundancy mode.
End with CNTL/Z.
