DeltaSphere-3000 3D Scene Digitizer
Creates a new scene file. Prompts for a name, and the suffix
.dss is appended automatically.
Opens an existing scene (.dss) file. Loads the individual files
that were loaded, and opens the windows that were opened,
when the scene was saved last.
Closes the open scene. If the scene has changed you will be
asked whether to save the scene.
Saves the open scene with its current name.
Saves the open scene and asks for a file name.
Opens any single file of a type supported by SceneVision. Note
that this closes the open scene if there is one and creates a new
scene. It does not place the new file into the open scene (see
Insert File. Dragging a file onto the SceneVision window
produces the same results.)
Inserts one or more files into the open scene. (Ctrl to select
multiple files from the popup window.)
Inserts all the files from a directory (including all
subdirectories) into the current scene. Files are placed in
appropriate locations in the scene's directory tree.
Enables the import of data from different scanners or software,
including a Riegl scan file, an XYZ scan file as produced by an
iQvolution scanner, and a PolyWorks® Group from
InnovMetric's PolyWorks/Modeler.
Removes selected files from the scene. Note that you can delete
a file from the scene – you must use Remove Files.
Saves the selected file (e.g. window) with its current name.
This does not save the current scene.
Saves the selected file (e.g. window) and asks for a file name.
Saves a selected region of data as a new file.
Exports all annotations composed of line segments (measure
lines, outlines, contours, perpendicular lines) to a new VRML
file. This file can then be imported into various CAD packages.
(Note that this file is not readable by SceneVision-3D.)
Saves the selected data in a new file. The data can be part of a
VRML or RTPI file.
Exports range (RTPI) files in several different formats. If any
region of the data is selected, a popup will offer the choice to
save All Data or Selected Data Only, in all formats except
Image. Also choose sub sampling (1 for every data point, 'n'
for every nth data point, again in all formats except Image.
