Then select 'Create Corner Lines'. This will intersect each adjacent pair of walls and produce
intersection lines with appropriate names formed by combining the wall names. By default it
will intersect the first and last planes – for some rooms you may choose not to select this. It will
then automatically open the Corner Line Wizard which is described in the next section.

8.1.11 Corner Line Wizard

The Corner Line Wizard trims lines created with the Wall Intersection Wizard and, optionally,
connects them to form the 3D outline of a room. You can run it independently by selecting it
from the Draw & Measure menu or from the toolbar ( ), or it will appear automatically after
completing the Wall Intersection Wizard. The left side of Figure 45 shows the window as it
appeared after completing the previous section.
The next step is to identify the floor and ceiling planes of the room. In this case we will select
the floor plane and the back ceiling plane from the scene tree and pick the Add Selected button.
In addition, the lines listed in the window must be ordered so they are clockwise or counter-
clockwise by moving individual lines up or down. You then have 3 options for the procedure.

You can choose to connect or not to connect the corners of the trimmed lines (these
will outline both the ceiling and the floor).
If you choose to connect them, you can choose whether to connect the first and last
in your list. In our example we will connect them all.
You can group the lines this wizard produces in a layer. Layers are groups of
annotations and are discussed in section 8.2.3.
