Creates a hotspot in an RTPI or VRML file. First you must
select a photo that has been aligned to the range data. Then
select this function. The corners of the image will appear in the
range and model data. These can be moved to create a smaller
mark in the data if desired.
direction of the camera when the photo was taken. Select an
aligned photo and then select the function.
With 2 lines selected, if the lines have endpoints that are
connected it will link them. If they are not connected, it will
select the two closest endpoints, move one so that it is at the
same point as the other, and then link them. Once linked,
selecting and moving one endpoint will move the other as well.
Bounds. The model bounds are the maximum and minimum
planes in x, y, and z. Select a plane and then select the function.
Reduces the edges of a plane by 1/2, leaving it centered on the
same point. Select the plane and then select the function.
Moves a plane along its normal (perpendicular) by a distance
specified by the user. Select a plane, then select the function.
Enter the distance in the popup window. Positive numbers
move the plane toward the origin of the model (where the
scanner was located); negative numbers move it away from the
origin.
Creates a new plane annotation identical to an existing plane.
Select a plane and then select the function.
Creates a measure line at the intersection of two planes. Select
two planes in the scene tree (Ctrl to select the second plane).
Then select the function.
Trims a measure line to end at its intersection with one or two
planes. Select one or two planes and a line in the scene tree
(Ctrl to make additional selections). Then select the function.
This will trim the endpoint that is closest to the plane. If it trims
the wrong endpoint, undo the operation. Then move the desired
endpoint closer to the plane. (This is done by selecting the
arrow button, holding Ctrl-Alt, and dragging the desired
endpoint. It will be limited to movement along the path of the
line.) Then repeat the trim operation and it should move the
correct endpoint.
Automatically creates the vertical intersection lines between a
set of adjacent walls. Data from this function feeds into the
Corner Line Wizard.
