Before every filling operation

Internal drinking water tank

There is a risk of contamination of the drinking water tank due to deposits and bacteria.
Clean the drinking water tank before every filling operation.
High temperatures can lead to damage.
Do not clean the drinking water tank in the dishwasher.
► Thoroughly rinse out the drinking water tank with fresh water several times.
► Thoroughly clean the drinking water tank cover with fresh water.
► Dry with a clean cloth.

Milk container (Option)

There is a risk of contamination of milk and the milk container due to milk deposits and
bacteria.
Clean the milk container and cover before every filling operation.
High temperatures can lead to damage.
Do not clean the milk container in the dishwasher.
► Thoroughly rinse out the milk container with fresh water several times.
► Thoroughly clean the milk container cover with fresh water.
► Dry with a clean cloth.

As needed

Brewing unit

Coffee residue in the brewing unit can quickly lead to the formation of mould. If the
mould spores spread in the machine, there is a risk of contamination of coffee.
Clean the brewing unit as descried on a monthly basis (depending on how dirty it is).
High temperatures can lead to damage.
Do not clean the brewing unit in the dishwasher.
► Open the service door
See "Main touch screen window" – "Opening the service door".
► Remove the grounds container.
► Remove the drip tray.
► Pull the locking mechanism (A) forward and hold it.
 The brewing unit is thereby unlocked.
► Pull the unlocked brewing unit downwards while, at the same time, swinging it forward out
of the machine.
