Installation and commissioning

The machine must be installed in accordance with the applicable federal, state and local elec-
trical and sanitary regulations. This includes an adequate non-return mechanism.

Set-up

Location

The location where the coffee machine is set up must meet the conditions specified be-
low. If these conditions are not ensured, the coffee machine may suffer damage.
It is imperative that the following conditions be met:
• The footprint must be stable and level such that it cannot deform under the weight of the
coffee machine.
• Do not set up on hot surfaces or near to sources of heat.
• Set up the coffee machine such that it can be monitored by trained staff at any time.
• Route the necessary supply connections to within 1 m of the machine location according
to the on-site installation plans.
• Maintain the following clearances for maintenance work and operation:
• Allow enough space above the machine to pour in coffee beans.
• Leave min. 15 cm clearance between the rear of the machine and the wall (air circula-
tion).
• Comply with all the locally applicable kitchen regulations.

Ambient conditions

The location where the coffee machine is set up must meet the ambient conditions
specified below. If these conditions are not ensured, the coffee machine may suffer
damage.
It is imperative that the following conditions be met:
• Ambient temperature of +10°C to +40°C (50°F to 104°F)
• Relative humidity of max. 80% RH
• The coffee machine is designed for indoor use only. Do not use in the open and never ex-
pose to the elements (rain, snow, frost)!
If the coffee machine has been exposed to sub-zero temperatures:
► Contact the Customer Service team before commissioning.

Power supply

Conditions

The equipment must be electrically connected in accordance with the regulations of the re-
spective country. The voltage specified on the serial plate must match the mains voltage at the
installation location.
