Option 2: With "integrated" drip tray
► Open the machine's service door.
See "Main touch screen window" – "Opening the service door".
► Remove the grounds container.
► Pull out the drip tray.
► Empty, rinse out and re-insert the drip tray.
► Re-insert the grounds container.
► Close the service door.

Waste water tank (Option)

In coffee machines with an external waste water tank, the tank must be emptied regularly, at
the latest when the empty instruction appears on the display.
► Remove and empty the waste water tank.
► Clean the waste water tank thoroughly with household cleaner and rinse it out with fresh
water.
► Re-insert the waste water tank.

Transport conditions

Improper transportation of the coffee machine can lead to injuries.
Observe the general guidelines for health and safety.
► Before changing the location of the machine, it is imperative that you disconnect the drink-
ing water supply, the power supply and the waste water outlet.
► Before moving the coffee machine, check the floor for obstacles and uneven areas.
Improper transport of the machine may result in machine damage.
Adhere to the following instructions when moving machines on a cart:
• For safety reasons, the cart must be pulled and not pushed when moving the coffee ma-
chine.
• Only pull on the cart and never on the machine.
• The cart is not intended for transporting cargo.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from incorrect use of the cart
or from failure to follow the operating instructions.

Standby

The coffee machine can be switched to Standby mode to save power.
► Press the [Operator service menu] field on the touch screen (see figure).
 The Operator service menu appears.
► Press the [Standby] field.
 The machine switches to Standby.
