Integrating a new hard disk drive in the RAID system

1. Select "Start" > "Programs" > "Intel Rapid Storage Technology".

2. Click the "Rebuild to another Disk" link.
If you shut down and restart the system without installing a functioning new hard disk drive,
"unused" is displayed for the corresponding SATA port. In this case, you will need to shut
down the system again and boot with the functioning hard disk drive. The new hard disk
drive is then assigned to a SATA port and can be included in the RAID system.
Pressing the "Rebuild to another Disk" link initiates synchronization of the RAID system
(RAID1 or RAID5).
A defective hard disk drive is still displayed during the rebuilding process. This display
disappears when the rebuilding process is completed.
