Memory expansion

The motherboard is equipped with four slots for memory modules. Use the modules to
expand the memory capacity of your device to a maximum of 32 GB. Of which 3.2 GB can
be used in a 32-bit operating system.
A detailed description of possible memory expansion options is available in the manual of
the motherboard on the supplied "Documentation and Drivers" DVD.

Installing expansion cards

Note the following:
● Specification of the expansion cards

The device is designed for use with expansion cards conforming to PCI specification 2.3
and PCIe specification 2.0. The expansion cards must not exceed the specified
dimensions. If the height is exceeded, you may experience contact problems,
malfunctions and difficulties with the assembly.
You can find the permitted dimensions for expansion cards in the chapter
"Dimensional drawing for the installation of expansion cards (Page 99)".
Expanding and assigning parameters to the device
1. Remove the highlighted retaining
screws.
2. Lift the enclosure cover from the back
and remove it.
3. If necessary, remove the front panel;
see chapter "Removing the front panel
(Page 53)".
